Welcome to FineToad, where collaboration is key.

Born out of the desire to help local businesses come together and support each other, we’re bringing you a new venture for Coulsdon High Street in 2022 - a shared retail space, which allows businesses to make their first step onto the high street, without the worry of associated overheads.

Something for everyone…

The aim is for the local community to get to know local businesses, use their services, buy their products and support them, all under one roof. And like-minded business people will get the chance to work together, share the success and reach a wider audience with their products.

We’re looking for variety, so any business wanting some kind of high street presence is welcome. Our aim is to enhance and support the existing businesses on our High Street - so we are seeking to offer products and services that complement what is already in Coulsdon. We are working with the other retailers and businesses in Coulsdon to collaborate and promote everything that's great and going on in and around our town and community.

So far, we've discussed renting shelf spaces to product makers and producers or wall space to artists; co-working desks or office space and meeting rooms; and events space for workshops and community meetings; pop-up stalls, and a refill station and stores. We are open to suggestions, ideas and all possibilities.

When will FineToad open?

That’s the big question! The venue is still being sought, but we are actively looking for freehold premises in Coulsdon, Surrey, as a long term investment. We are totally flexible and expect the retail space to evolve, change and adapt as people and businesses approach us with their ideas and their wants and needs.
