Coulsdon up-date Nov 2022
We have continued to look for premises to buy for Fine Toad in Coulsdon. We are still hopeful we have found somewhere suitable and that negotiations will come to fruition soon. In the meantime, we are still looking and approaching other owners/landlords so anyone knowing an owner wishing to dispose of a retail or mixed use premises in Coulsdon town centre, please put us in touch. We are looking to purchase the freehold ie premises for sale.
EVENTS in Coulsdon
Eleanor has been heading up Coulsdon’s Yuletide Magic preparations for Saturday 3rd December 2022 with Wendy also proposed as one of the Directors of a new Coulsdon Community Partnership, which is registered and awaiting approval from the Charity Commission.
This new charity will encompass The Hive, community garden, Christmas and other Coulsdon initiatives, volunteering and fundraising to support and develop community and partnerships in our town.
The Halloween trail was a huge success in Coulsdon on 31st October, with hundreds of people bringing their little ones for some family time, coming out in great spirits to enjoy a fun (and tiny bit scary) evening. We were totally impressed how many adults also joined in and helped to make it such a great event:

As we look towards Christmas, Coulsdon’s Yuletide Magic on Sat 3rd December has been supported by many locals, businesses and shops, for which we are extremely grateful.
We have a small team of people working hard and doing their best to make Christmas in Coulsdon 2022 a fabulous one, with Christmas Lights, a great raffle and Yuletide Magic on Sat 3rd December.
Christmas Lights for 20 lamp posts have been purchased, so that they are available for at least the next three years and an LED Christmas Tree has been funded too. Stalls are being booked for the outdoor and indoor markets and Santa’s Grotto tickets are now selling fast. We would love to have more local involvement so if you, or you know anyone who might want to get involved please put them in touch, businesses or individuals can donate time or money!
